Ichinomiya Women's Commercial School was founded by Manji Yoshida, founder.

Ichinomiya Women's Junior College (Department of Home Economics) and the affiliated Ichinomiya Kindergarten were established.

Nutrition Course of Home Economics was appointed as the dietitian training facility by the Ministry of Health and Welfare

Childcare Department was established.
The course for kindergarten teachers level 2 regular license was authorized by the Ministry of Education.
The kindergarten teacher training facility was approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The Third Department of Home Economics and the Third Department of Early Childhood Education were established.
Department of Home Economics was renamed the First Department of Home Economics, and the Childcare Department was renamed the First Department of Early Childhood Education.
The affiliated Fujigaoka Kindergarten was established.

The First Department of Home Economics was renamed the First Department of Living Culture.
The Third Department of Home Economics was renamed the Third Department of Living Culture.
The advanced course was established in the Department of Early Childhood Education.
Yoshida Memorial Hall was completed.

Environmental management system with international standard ISO14001 was certified.

Confectionery Create Course (current Confectionery Course) was established in the Department of Living Culture

The 50th anniversary for the establishment of Ichinomiya Women's Junior College was celebrated.

Shubun University (Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Health and Nutrition) was established, and approved as a training facility for the registered dietitian.
Advanced course in the Department of Early Childhood Education was abolished.

Ichinomiya Women's Junior College was renamed Shubun University Junior College

The Department of Nursing, Faculty of Nursing was established at Shubun University.
The educational foundation was renamed Shubun Gakuin.
